The route:

Nouakchott – Oasis – of the Amatlich
Departure for Akjoujt and continuation by the track to the massif of high dunes of Amatlich and oasis of graritte livrasse, Azoiga

Amatlich – palm grove of Echaîla – Oasis El Meddah.
So towards the oasis of El Gleïtat and El-Meddah, the largest palm grove in Mauritania. cords of dunes planted with palm trees, here begins the long cord of dunes of Amatlich, and allows you to reach the palm grove of Echaîla stuck in the rocks, by clearing your way through the vegetation, you will discover a rock shelter, containing rock paintings a few meters away, a small spring brings its touch of freshness

OUJEFT – Oasis TOUNGADE
After a walk in the El Meddah oasis we return to Oujeft old town via EL-MADEN oasis and then TOUNQADE and M’HARTH oasis and its vast palm grove.

OASIS M’ HARTH – OUADANE
Our journey of the day is a course of about 120 km in an unpaved track, a real desert of sand dunes, without tracks, where we can perceive the isolation of the lost cities of the desert. Arrived in Ouadane, we visit the museum which illustrates the highly glorious past of this country.

We return to Chinguetti, the 7th holy city of Islam, dating from the 11th century, with its dry stone houses and its famous mosque declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We visit the old town, the museum and the library
CHINGUITTI – ZARGA – EL AIENE SAFRA
At sunrise, we leave Chinguetti, towards zarga and its surroundings with their wonderful landscape and we visit the village of EL AIEN SAFRA with these dry stone houses

EL AIENE SAFRA – OASIS RACHIDE
We leave EL AIEN SAFRA and we return to the great oasis of Rachid

RACHIDE – TIDJIKJA
Departure to the capital of Tagant Tidjikja you will visit its market, its old houses

TIDJUKJA – N’BEIKA – MATMATAH
Then N’BAIKA oasis with its vast lunch palm grove visits the large palm grove of N’Beika and the guelta of Matmatah, where some crocodiles survive (recently observed).

N’BEIKA – MATMATAH – KSAR EL BARKA
Ksar El Barka, abandoned ghost town. Founded in the 17th century by the kountas, KSAR EL-BARKA was built in the deep wadi of el-ebiad in the heart of one of the most beautiful hydrographic networks of Tagant, before its destruction in 1822, the small city prospered thanks to trade. caravanner and date palm cultivation. KSAR EL-BARKA presents a remarkable architecture, thick walls made of sandstone stones, well squared and jointed with mud: facades decorated with beautiful triangular cells.

when we leave Kasr El Barka we return to the city of Moudjeria, a former fortress of the French army and then Bivouac with tea under the stars or in a nomadic tent on the levatar dunes
DUNES OF LETVETAR- NOUAKCHOTT
In the direction of the road of Hope, which will take you through the cities of Aleg, Boutilimit..and then Nouakchott the capital of Mauritania, Dinner in town and overnight at the hotel
